Cookie Policy
What this website stores on your device, why it does so, and how you can control it.
Last updated: 2 November 2026
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Related technologies, such as the browser's local storage, serve a similar purpose. In this policy, "cookies" refers to both.
2. What this site uses
This website does not use advertising cookies, analytics cookies or third-party tracking of any kind. The only item stored is a single entry in your browser's local storage, which records your response to the cookie notice so that it is not shown to you on every visit.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| tyadref_cookies_v1 | Strictly necessary (local storage) | Remembers your response to the cookie notice. | Until you clear your browser data. | First party |
Separately, our web server keeps standard access logs (date, time, IP address and the file requested). These are generated by the hosting infrastructure for security and diagnostics, are not cookies, and are not used for advertising or profiling.
3. The legal position
Regulation 6 of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 requires consent before storing information on a user's device, except where the storage is strictly necessary to provide the service the user has requested. The single item described above falls within that exemption. Should we introduce analytics or third-party cookies in future, we will ask for your consent beforehand through a configurable panel.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
You can allow, block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings:
- Google Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Third-party cookies / Site data.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
Deleting the tyadref_cookies_v1 entry will simply cause the cookie notice to appear again on your next visit. Blocking local storage does not prevent you from using the site.
5. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if the technologies used on the site change or if the law requires it. Please check back from time to time.
